No One Can Really Tell The Truth Like John Walsh

Googling indicates the last investigative LAT tow truck scandal story appeared 15 yrs.ago today!

MTA Bus Accident 03

Eerie coincidence above! Wouldn’t you agree? Then-LA Times reporter Joe Mozingo’s story is excellent!
Too very bad that Joe isn’t a reporter at the Times anymore!

Why no follow-up? We, the LA Times loyal readers, have been waiting patiently for a follow-up tow truck scandal story since the previous century … 1998 and counting, to be exact!

Maybe now that the downtown streets are awash with the blood of a decomposing tow truck victim that might serve as a gentle prod to convince Editor-in-Chief Davan Maharaj, who wasn’t at the LA Times 15 years ago, to assign one of his currently languishing investigative reporters, award-winning Robert Lopez, for instance, would be a great choice, to re-connect and carry-on with this growing Tow Truck exposé!

That leaves three simple questions concerning the speeding tow truck driver who killed the MTA bus operator, Ms. Olivia Gamboa, in Downtown LA this morning: Where did the tow truck driver’s fateful trip originate and what was his never-reached destination? And was there an officially-sanctioned LAPD Garage in any way involved?

So little time to probe … So much corruption to sift through!
