LA CITY COUNCIL URGED TO PLACE A PERMANENT CAP ON NEW LIQUOR LICENSES!
DISEASED NEW LA COUNCILMAN MIKE BONIN HAS VIOLATED HIS ALCOHOLIC ANONYMOUS OATH BY VOTING FOR EVERY NEW LIQUOR LICENSE BROUGHT BEFORE HIM DURING HIS FIRST THREE MONTHS AS A MEMBER OF THE LA CITY COUNCIL!
FOR SHAME, MIKE! YOU HAVE VIOLATED YOUR AA OATH BY DOING SO!
CONSEQUENTLY, YOU HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE RECORD NUMBER OF HIT AND RUN DEATHS
SUFFERED HERE IN LA!
The disease that Councilman Mike Bonin suffers from is alcoholism (Ask him!) which has crippled his judgment!
The Los Angeles City Council has the authority to put a cap on liquor licenses. But the Council refuses to do so! Or even discuss this life- or-death issue!
As a direct result, the City of Los Angeles leads all America cities in most liquor permits (on site and retail) per square mile!
Not coincidentally, Los Angeles also leads the Nation in hit-and-run fatalities!
Mike, our website, jwalshconfidential , made the statement found below to your face (without a response from you) during The Public Comment Period of yesterday’s (10-2-13) LA City Council Meeting (available on video at LACITY.ORG):
“Councilman Bonin, every time a drunken driver runs over and kills or maims a pedestrian in Los Angeles, the innocent blood of that victim is partially on your hands as an AA member; along with the other City Council members who consistently join you now in refusing to vote a fixed cap on the issuance of new liquor licenses in the City of LA!”
Enough is much more than enough!
AA member Mike Bonin and his colleagues defense for never voting down a liquor license is that the granting of these licenses are all matters of “public necessity and convenience”!
Those very words quoted above are contained in the official LA City Council meeting minutes whenever a liquor license is officially approved by Council members’ vote!
As a direct result of this horrendous policy, the LA City Council has posted rewards for a cumulative total of nearly one million dollars to apprehend the hit-and-run drivers who purchased or consumed alcohol at the record number of LA venues where City Council members themselves have voted unanimously to approve the unrestricted sale of alcohol leading to many, many of these preventable hit and run killings!
ATTENTION LA CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS: VOTE A CAP ON CITY LIQUOR LICENSES NOW!
