No One Can Really Tell The Truth Like John Walsh
“PATRICK GANNON LOST OUT ON HIS ATTEMPT TO PUSH ASIDE HIS CHIEF RIVAL CHARLIE BECK TO REPLACE LAPD POLICE CHIEF BILL BRATTON. – GANNON IS SEEN HERE AT LA CITY COUNCIL WITH BECK IN ATTENDANCE BEING HONORED UPON HIS RETIREMENT! – NOW HEEEEEE’S BAAAAAAAAACK!:
CREATING HAVOC AT THE AIRPORT!”
WHEN GANNON REMOVED THE ARMED POLICE GUARDING THE TERMINAL 3 TSA STATION AND SENT THEM OUT AS A ROVING PATROL, GANNON SENTENCED THE EL SALVADORAN-BORN TERMINAL 3 TSA AGENT TO DEATH ON 11/1/13!
LA Times Reporter responds with angry e-mail (below) to blogger who levels harsh criticism at The Times half-assed coverage of LAX fatal melee on 11/1!
Times reporter Weikel unconvincingly claims he was “hardly intimidated”!
Behind the curtain at the LA Times is anti-Semitic Editor-in-Chief Mr. Davan Maharaj, pulling all the cover-up strings to please Mayor Garcetti and the City Fathers who, in turn, pull the Junior Mayor’s strings!
Only in LA … with two warring LAX factions: the LAPD under chief Charlie Beck versus the independent Airport Police Force under his longtime-personal rival, now Airport Police Chief, Patrick Gannon (locked in a do-or- die turf battle since Gannon took command late last year) could such wholesale chaos have occurred!
Poor beleaguered Times staff reporter assigned to the Airport beat ,Mr. Dan Weikel (caught In the middle) defensively replies to our website charges that the LA Times to avoid civic embarrassment is killing stories related to the horrific LAX melee that left TSA agent dead, who shouldn’t have died!
Dan Weikel is in a position now where he earns his pay from the Times as much for not reporting embarrassing stories as he’s paid for reporting the wimpy news at LAX!
LA Times Reporter Weikel in his email to us brags about his appearance on MSNBC while refusing to report on stories circulating that some injuries suffered by those at Terminal Three were caused by “friendly fire”.
Reporter Weikel protests too much! How come?
Airport Police Chief Patrick Gannon ,who heads his own agency that is completely separate from LAPD, was notably left out of the newly-formed FBI-led group that includes the LAPD and the LAFD among others, mcharged with investigating itself as well as the 11/1 LAX avoidable-tragedy!
This is the same group asking for “patience” from the public, according to its news release on Saturday passed on to the public unquestioningly over the weekend by Weikel in the LA Times!
The time for patience is over. The turf war at LAX still rages, creating an ever-present dangerous situation for travelers!
Has evidence been destroyed?
Reporter Weikel is getting most of his insider informations from Airport Police Union President Mr. Marshall McClain, who has an ax to grind against LAPD!
Read below today’s verbatim LA Times Email to our website and our blog’s e-mail that caused this outburst from the good gray Times! We obviously struck an exposed nerve!

Subject: RE: LAPD to investigate claim of delay in treating wounded TSA agent The only solution is dissolution: Patrick Gannon’s Mickey Mouse Police Force is toast!
The story is still on out(sic) website. Would you like me to call it up for you? We broke the story on the removal of armed officers from TSA checkpoints and other media followed us. I was on MSNBC News talking about it the next day. Not only that, we have mentioned the removal of the officers several time in subsequent stories. I was hardly intimidated by anyone.

Dear Mr. Weikel:
BS Congratulations! Your story below nailing LAPD for the 11/1 LAX foul-up that led to a TSA officer bleeding to death because of misinformation fed to LAFD paramedics by LA’s Finest first appeared on the LA TIMES blog LA NOW approximately two hours after Anchor Scott Pelley led with the same story on the CBS Evening News original East Coast telecast today! You personally were forced to eat Scott Pelley’s exhaust! How super-sad!
You weren’t beaten to the punch, Mr. Weikel. You abdicated your responsibility when you killed this latest LAPD black eye story after enormous negative pressure (happening above your head) was applied to the Publisher by Mayor Eric Garcetti and other LA movers and shakers, stemming from their outrage over the excellent front page story with your byline last week exposing LAX “Chaos” on 11/1!
In fact, your ass and your LA Times editors’ asses have been sitting on this bombshell story fed to you by the Airport Police Union leader for about a week, hoping that the facts of the matter would simply vanish into thin air so that Mayor Garcetti and the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce would not have to face the civic shame involved and the negative impact on tourism that would inevitably follow once world-wide tourists find out that LAX is the most hazardous airport of all!
LAT got the tip from the same cop union source as did CBS News and many others! You covered up this story until you got caught with your pants down by Mr. Scott Pelley just a few hours ago!
After the smoking gun LAX story broke internationally, the LA Times found itself embarrassed into copycatting someone else’s scoop that could have been yours, Mr. Dan Weikel!
LAPD Chief Beck and Airport Top Cop Patrick Gannon have been at war with one another for quite a while, dating back to their power struggle over the appointment of LAPD Chief almost 5 years ago!
You surely know that thevroot cause of the 11/1 LAX chaos is the mutually-crippling rivalry between LAPD and The Airport Police Force.
(A Never-Ending Tarmac Turf War!)
The only solution is dissolution now! The Airport Police must go! Its days are numbered!
The world is beginning to notice that chaotic shit such as what transpired on November First never happens at any other airport on the planet! Only in LA! Why?
Mr. Weikel, I have known you and interacted with you as a source for more than 15 years in your capacity as a Times Reporter.
I must say now it’s doubtful that you have the guts or journalistic professional ethics to reply to this email!
